Meet Dr. Bourke
Dr. Bourke graduated from dental school at the University of Western Ontario in 2002 with distinction. She then worked as a general dentist in the Guelph community with her father, Dr. Ian Bourke, until 2004. Dr. Bourke returned to school at the University of Toronto in 2004 to complete her orthodontic residency. She obtained her orthodontic specialty certification in 2007 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She has had her orthodontic research published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and helps to evaluate new orthodontists. Dr. Bourke enjoys attending continuing education seminars to advance her knowledge and stay current with new developments in orthodontics.
In 2015, Dr. Bourke joined the 7+ Clinic at Chedoke-McMaster Hospital as a Clinical Orthodontic Consultant, where she continues to work with patients who have all types of genetic cranial-facilal deformities.
Dr. Bourke is a member of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, and the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry. She is also registered as an orthodontic specialist with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
